Yes, always — before we see anything. We provide our standard mutual NDA, or we'll sign yours if you have one. Either way, your business workflows, data structures, client information, and the automation logic we build are fully protected from Day 0.
We sign an NDA with every client, in every market we work in. We take IP protection seriously — it's one of the main reasons clients trust us over cheaper alternatives.
You do. Completely. On delivery, we transfer everything — all code, workflow configurations, API credentials, documentation, and system access. We remove our access. You can hand it to any engineer in the world and they'll be able to maintain it, because we only use standard, open tools (n8n, Make, Python, etc.) — no proprietary black boxes.
We include written documentation of every workflow specifically so you're never dependent on us. You're never locked in.
We're an automation studio, not a law firm, so we don't claim formal certification. What we do: we design your automation to support your GDPR and CCPA obligations. We don't store your business data beyond the project scope, all data processing is documented, and we can provide a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) if your compliance team needs one.
We use encrypted credential management (1Password Business / Bitwarden), and we never share client data with third parties. If your automation processes personal data of EU/UK residents, we'll configure it with those requirements in mind from the start, and recommend you confirm the setup with your own legal counsel.
60 days of monitoring and bug fixes are included at zero extra cost. During this period we monitor your automation, fix any issues that arise, and handle API changes from third-party tools (which are the most common cause of automation breakage).
After 60 days, we offer an optional monthly support retainer starting from $500/month, which covers ongoing monitoring, updates, and priority fixes. You're never obligated to take the retainer — the automation and its documentation are yours, and any competent developer can maintain it.
We've built a remote-first process specifically for overseas clients: regular async video updates via Loom (you watch in your own time, no meetings required), a shared Notion project board with live task status, and a dedicated Slack or email channel for quick questions. For milestone reviews, we do short video calls at a time that suits your timezone — EST, PST, GMT, or CET.

Yes. From Day 1, you get access to a shared Notion project board with task updates, build notes, and links to Loom recordings showing the automation working in staging. You can comment, ask questions, or request adjustments at any point during the build phase.
Nothing goes to your live environment without your written approval. We run a full set of real-world test scenarios and you sign off on the testing report before go-live. You're involved as much or as little as you want to be.
We request the minimum permissions required for the specific integration — read-only where possible, write access only where necessary. All credentials are shared via an encrypted vault (1Password Business or Bitwarden) — never via email or chat.
We never store passwords or API keys after project completion. On delivery, all credentials are removed from our vault and we confirm this in writing. We also recommend you rotate API keys after handoff as a best practice — and we'll tell you exactly how to do it.
